YOUR FIRST YEAR New Student Experience (NSE) Course

New Student Experience (NSE) Courses offer a small class setting to engage with peers and a faculty or staff instructor who is committed to your success as you transition to Baylor. NSE faculty serve as mentors and guides in courses offered in a wide range of topics, including aviation, meteorology, entrepreneurship, social innovation and leadership, engineering, computer science and many more. You and your advisor will work together to decide which NSE course is right for you.

Many academic programs require enrollment in specific NSE courses as part of your degree plan. Some Living-Learning Centers also require residents to take certain NSE courses, which provides an additional opportunity to deepen community as you learn and live alongside fellow students.
