TECHNOLOGY Bear ID & BearWeb

A Bear ID — your official Baylor username (e.g., Firstname_Lastname#) — has already been created just for you. Your Bear ID and password are the keys to your Baylor email account and many digital resources on campus including BearWeb, the university's information hub for official information about your Baylor education.

Remember, never share your Bear ID with anyone else, including parents or guardians. Baylor will never ask you to provide your Bear ID, password, social security number, bank account information or any other kind of sensitive information over email. Always use caution when entering any information onto websites that seem suspicious. Please safeguard your Bear ID and password and to take prompt action if you think your information may have been compromised.

BearWeb

BearWeb is Baylor’s secure online system that allows access to personal information such as addresses, phone numbers and emergency contacts, as well as the following information and functions specific to you:

Billing Account Summary
Financial Aid
View/Accept Aid Awards and any Missing Requirements
Grades and Transcripts
Registration - add/drop classes, class schedule, optional fees

How to Activate Your Bear ID & Password

If you don’t already have your Bear ID and password set up, follow these steps:

Go to bearid.baylor.edu and select “forgot password,” then select “forgot your Bear ID.”
Answer questions to verify your identity, including your Bear ID number.
Enter the authorization code from the email you receive from Baylor.
Next, choose four security questions, answers to those questions and a password to secure your account. Follow the directions regarding choosing an appropriate password and enter your password twice. Keep in mind whatever password you choose will be case sensitive.
